In 2005 I moved to Australia from Devon, UK, with my husband Gareth and my two children, currently 14 and 12 years. I am originally from Pembrokeshire in Wales. Whilst in the UK I was a police officer for 16 years whilst my husband was in the Royal Navy. This lead to an interesting life! We emigrated for a better way of life and the Royal Australian Navy provided this opportunity for us. I found a new career as an Education Assistant at Leeming SHS Education Support Centre and during 2010 I enrolled as a mature aged student at Murdoch University to embark on a new journey towards becoming a Primary school teacher.
I am aware this will be a slow, but hopefully rewarding process. In the meantime I still enjoy getting out and about pounding the streets to clear my head in between all the sports and school activities of my children.

It seemed that we were well on task with our group project, but suddenly the presentation seems much closer. We met yesterday but there is a sense of frustration that maybe Tandia won't actually put her allocated part on the website. We will have to wait and see. The rest of us are busy putting it all together. I finished the actual mindmap yesterday with all our ideas and saved it using jing to capture the image to show our thoughts on the power point, but I can't get it to upload without cutting off the image on the powerpoint. I'm not happy with the slide at the moment and will have to get back to it again. There must be a way to attach it to the powerpoint without losing the slide background. Will use the text book to check but have found that I am using Google a lot at the moment and the powerpoint page on LMS on weblinks is a fabulous resource. Oce done I must remember to post how I did it so I have always got a record!
