In 2005 I moved to Australia from Devon, UK, with my husband Gareth and my two children, currently 14 and 12 years. I am originally from Pembrokeshire in Wales. Whilst in the UK I was a police officer for 16 years whilst my husband was in the Royal Navy. This lead to an interesting life! We emigrated for a better way of life and the Royal Australian Navy provided this opportunity for us. I found a new career as an Education Assistant at Leeming SHS Education Support Centre and during 2010 I enrolled as a mature aged student at Murdoch University to embark on a new journey towards becoming a Primary school teacher.
I am aware this will be a slow, but hopefully rewarding process. In the meantime I still enjoy getting out and about pounding the streets to clear my head in between all the sports and school activities of my children.

Ok, it seems blogging isn't actually my thing! I was actually enjoying reflecting on what I am doing and how I am learning from the course and applying what I have learnt. Obviously not quite got it right! Happy I did got over half marks but will have to re-evaluate my future posts and become more specific. Already spend a lot of time on this unit and it appears I will just have to step things up a bit more. Not sure how Dani struggled to find my link to iTunes as it is on a page listed on cover sheet for the assignment. Well, this bit of self reflecting has allowed me to get my thoughts down. I am a bit of a perfectionist but I am willing to learn and move on!
