At least with this week being a study week we were able to meet up for a few hours. I suggested in the last workshop that we might use the subject of Olympics 2012. This seemed to go down ok and I researched the scope and skills section. Our meting resulted in our age group, topic, tasks and webpage being decided upon, not bad for week 1 of the assignment. We weren't sure though whether to use the Education site on Yola or the personal site, a quick email to Dani and we are still awaiing a reply. In meantime we have created a website on Yola using education layout. The process so far has been pretty good, each of us has played to our strengths and we have come away with tasks to complete. Funny that the next day a Google form was put up but we had naturally sorted this all out ourselves. Must ask whether this form is to be completed and submitted. Part of my task is to research Olympic sites, had to read lots of privacy rules. The Australian olympic Committee were very prompt giving permission to link our site to theirs, although it has to be removed once assignment is assessed. So far, so good, and feeling optimistic.
