In 2005 I moved to Australia from Devon, UK, with my husband Gareth and my two children, currently 14 and 12 years. I am originally from Pembrokeshire in Wales. Whilst in the UK I was a police officer for 16 years whilst my husband was in the Royal Navy. This lead to an interesting life! We emigrated for a better way of life and the Royal Australian Navy provided this opportunity for us. I found a new career as an Education Assistant at Leeming SHS Education Support Centre and during 2010 I enrolled as a mature aged student at Murdoch University to embark on a new journey towards becoming a Primary school teacher.
I am aware this will be a slow, but hopefully rewarding process. In the meantime I still enjoy getting out and about pounding the streets to clear my head in between all the sports and school activities of my children.

Just checked my emails and had notification of comments..Yay!!!! Dani found me and has commented on the iTunes problem and my husband has checked up on me from Canberra!!!!! To be honest he has tested the form on the Womrun page under an alias (hello Gretal!!) and it works! This will be good for students to use in the future and I noticed when I joined the site to download the widget that it has an educators spot - must remember! Feeling much happier now and I think that will be all for tonight. Not going to play around with site much more. Just (!) reference tomorrow and submit :)
