Today found me thinking about my EWB resource whilst I had some time to spare at the end of the day at school. For some reason the school computers are blocking my access to everything on the Murdoch Uni website, so some authentic digging is to be done tomorrow with the IT man to find out why. However, a Google search on "Interactive White Board for protective behaviours" brought up lots of interesting sites, I never knew there was actually so much information out there to use for free. I chose this topic as it is a subject I taught in schools many years ago as a police officer and now I realise there was so much more material available to me, if only I had realised. Saying that though, I was aware of EWB's back then but I have come well out of my comfort zone these days and I don't fear not always knowing which button to press. Whilst on this search for information, I came across this website which I think is particularly good and one which I will post on LMS as I have noticed there are quite a few of us Special Needs Education Assistants doing this degree ;  room13teachersspace.blogspot.com/.../safe-4-kids-protective-behaviours.html . The interactive whiteboard programs are accessed by scrolling half way down the page and clicking on "Interactive Whiteboard Resources", but there are lots more resources which could become useful in the future. Since creating my Diigo library I have also added this website to my list, a tip I picked up from LMS and one for which I am already grateful as my library is building fast.
