In 2005 I moved to Australia from Devon, UK, with my husband Gareth and my two children, currently 14 and 12 years. I am originally from Pembrokeshire in Wales. Whilst in the UK I was a police officer for 16 years whilst my husband was in the Royal Navy. This lead to an interesting life! We emigrated for a better way of life and the Royal Australian Navy provided this opportunity for us. I found a new career as an Education Assistant at Leeming SHS Education Support Centre and during 2010 I enrolled as a mature aged student at Murdoch University to embark on a new journey towards becoming a Primary school teacher.
I am aware this will be a slow, but hopefully rewarding process. In the meantime I still enjoy getting out and about pounding the streets to clear my head in between all the sports and school activities of my children.
Feel like I'm sinking!

Well, just finished a different unit assignment and must really get stuck into 1B. Had a very busy long weekend but did keep up with online lectures on Tuesday. Have an idea formulating in my head about this running group thing, but need to research what to do. Really have no idea about linking etc to current page. Presuming that it can all be make believe as don't have anyone here that I would tell about this so that they could use the resource. Will be useful to me though to actually list my own fave running songs and download them. Met a friend today and her new man is an IT wizard who professionally creates websites.....maybe a visit at weekend, but then again I don't want to be lazy. I want to do this myself to prove I can do it. Ho hum!!
