I am only now really starting to feel excited by this unit. Researching for the exam questions today has been so good. I have downloaded the
MyHomework app (
http://itunes.apple.com/au/app/myhomework/id303490844?mt=8 ) for my uni units and to get used to using for the future. I also found the Storykit App through a webpage suggested by a student on LMS (
http://educationaltech-med.blogspot.com/2011/05/storykit-free-mobile-multimedia.html ) I am going to use this as an example for Q 6 in the exam if it comes up. So much info and so little time!
In 2005 I moved to Australia from Devon, UK, with my husband Gareth and my two children, currently 14 and 12 years. I am originally from Pembrokeshire in Wales. Whilst in the UK I was a police officer for 16 years whilst my husband was in the Royal Navy. This lead to an interesting life! We emigrated for a better way of life and the Royal Australian Navy provided this opportunity for us. I found a new career as an Education Assistant at Leeming SHS Education Support Centre and during 2010 I enrolled as a mature aged student at Murdoch University to embark on a new journey towards becoming a Primary school teacher.
I am aware this will be a slow, but hopefully rewarding process. In the meantime I still enjoy getting out and about pounding the streets to clear my head in between all the sports and school activities of my children.
