You might wonder what this has to do with the unit, but I live in fear of the MACs we have at school. I always veer towards the faithful desktop. However, after the workshop on Tuesday I decided to have a look at the program which was mentioned, and yes, I found how to create a website on the MAC. It looks quite easy, so guess what....my class are going to create a page to descibe their last year at High School. I've decided it can only help me gain confidence. I am getting a few ideas after looking at sites people have created, but still not sure whether anyone will really be interested in my blogs. Must admit I enjoy posting my thoughts though!
In 2005 I moved to Australia from Devon, UK, with my husband Gareth and my two children, currently 14 and 12 years. I am originally from Pembrokeshire in Wales. Whilst in the UK I was a police officer for 16 years whilst my husband was in the Royal Navy. This lead to an interesting life! We emigrated for a better way of life and the Royal Australian Navy provided this opportunity for us. I found a new career as an Education Assistant at Leeming SHS Education Support Centre and during 2010 I enrolled as a mature aged student at Murdoch University to embark on a new journey towards becoming a Primary school teacher.
I am aware this will be a slow, but hopefully rewarding process. In the meantime I still enjoy getting out and about pounding the streets to clear my head in between all the sports and school activities of my children.
