In 2005 I moved to Australia from Devon, UK, with my husband Gareth and my two children, currently 14 and 12 years. I am originally from Pembrokeshire in Wales. Whilst in the UK I was a police officer for 16 years whilst my husband was in the Royal Navy. This lead to an interesting life! We emigrated for a better way of life and the Royal Australian Navy provided this opportunity for us. I found a new career as an Education Assistant at Leeming SHS Education Support Centre and during 2010 I enrolled as a mature aged student at Murdoch University to embark on a new journey towards becoming a Primary school teacher.
I am aware this will be a slow, but hopefully rewarding process. In the meantime I still enjoy getting out and about pounding the streets to clear my head in between all the sports and school activities of my children.

I can't believe we aren't actually guided towards particular chapters of our textbooks. I feel I am ok as I do read a lot and today I have read loads which has given me ideas for this assignment. In fact, there are too many to mention. I will add them tomorrow as I have loads more to do tonight, including a sick child. I am pleased to see that someone else is adding to our webpage (Tech2a). I have had a reply from the Australian Olympic Committee to say that we can link their webpage to our site but it must be removed after the assignment is submitted. I have already added the site to ours. Lots to do tomorrow. Can't believe that I actually contacted the London and Australian Olympic Committees this week so that we reference and use their sites correctly. More to come tomorrow.
