In 2005 I moved to Australia from Devon, UK, with my husband Gareth and my two children, currently 14 and 12 years. I am originally from Pembrokeshire in Wales. Whilst in the UK I was a police officer for 16 years whilst my husband was in the Royal Navy. This lead to an interesting life! We emigrated for a better way of life and the Royal Australian Navy provided this opportunity for us. I found a new career as an Education Assistant at Leeming SHS Education Support Centre and during 2010 I enrolled as a mature aged student at Murdoch University to embark on a new journey towards becoming a Primary school teacher.
I am aware this will be a slow, but hopefully rewarding process. In the meantime I still enjoy getting out and about pounding the streets to clear my head in between all the sports and school activities of my children.

Managed by default to log in with TLF. I initially thought that we had to put our Murdoch Uni email address in ie.deb..@murdoch..., but after discussion in the last workshop with tutor and group, I tried my own home Bigpond email address and this worked. At least I am set up to use the resources for Ass 2a. Must post this info on LMS in case any one else thought the same as me. Couldn't believe Jenni posted the info about the submenus on Yola yesterday, I had thought about it but thought it was too obvious to post.
