In 2005 I moved to Australia from Devon, UK, with my husband Gareth and my two children, currently 14 and 12 years. I am originally from Pembrokeshire in Wales. Whilst in the UK I was a police officer for 16 years whilst my husband was in the Royal Navy. This lead to an interesting life! We emigrated for a better way of life and the Royal Australian Navy provided this opportunity for us. I found a new career as an Education Assistant at Leeming SHS Education Support Centre and during 2010 I enrolled as a mature aged student at Murdoch University to embark on a new journey towards becoming a Primary school teacher.
I am aware this will be a slow, but hopefully rewarding process. In the meantime I still enjoy getting out and about pounding the streets to clear my head in between all the sports and school activities of my children.

Just in case the iTunes saga interested anyone, I decided I had put in too much effort to dismiss iTunes as a social resource. I have therefore downloaded Jing as a result of trawling through the LMS discussions. It really was very easy to download. I accessed it through a link one of the students had posted and followed all the prompts from there. I signed in as a new user, watched the demo twice on how to capture and save a screenshot and hey presto, I managed to capture one playlist. This was easily put onto my webpage by using the upload file widget. I enlarged it so that my suggestions might actually be read and used by someone. I have more and am willing to supply names of songs to anyone as they all have a good running beat. Now all I have to finish is the referencing. In some ways I will be happy to move on, but I keep thinking of different things I could do. Well, at least the iTunes saga closes!
