In 2005 I moved to Australia from Devon, UK, with my husband Gareth and my two children, currently 14 and 12 years. I am originally from Pembrokeshire in Wales. Whilst in the UK I was a police officer for 16 years whilst my husband was in the Royal Navy. This lead to an interesting life! We emigrated for a better way of life and the Royal Australian Navy provided this opportunity for us. I found a new career as an Education Assistant at Leeming SHS Education Support Centre and during 2010 I enrolled as a mature aged student at Murdoch University to embark on a new journey towards becoming a Primary school teacher.
I am aware this will be a slow, but hopefully rewarding process. In the meantime I still enjoy getting out and about pounding the streets to clear my head in between all the sports and school activities of my children.
Yola wouldn't load

Last night was another of those nights when I could have thrown the computer against a wall!! I had done so much ready for 2a and wanted to put it all down before the workshop today but no, Yola kept freezing on me. I have no idea as the others in my group had no problem. Anyway, turns out today that we have all worked well on our assignment and I think it will all come together pretty good. Showed our ideas to Dani today and hopefully he thought it was going ok. We were asked a few questions and had the answers. Must still be careful not to do the answering though all the time.Must say though that I am really frustrated in our workshop with the majority of the students. Can't believe how rude they are and I find it very hard not to take control and tell them to PLEASE be quiet!
